Product Description

  • This is an exciting addition to the Blackstone Paddock family
  • Deep in colour with dark berry fruit flavours and fine grained tannins, this delightful Shiraz illustrates why the Barossa is deserving of its reputation as one of the world's greatest wine regions
  • Fruit is sourced almost entirely from a single vineyard, located at the southern end of the Barossa near Williamstown
  • The wine is de-stemmed and fermented in open fermenters for up to 5 days and then spends 12 + months in second and third year old French oak barrels
  • It is bright fruited, with lifted blackberry, wild red fruits, plums and chocolate and an overlaying soft spice character
  • The tannins are balanced and the wine builds in the glass with air and will reward cellaring of 5+ years
