Sautéed Brussel Sprouts with Garlic & Red Onion

Method

  1. Slice the brussel sprouts in half. Steam sprouts until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain them well and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan. Sauté red onion and garlic on medium heat until just softened. Add steamed brussel sprouts and continue to sauté until the sprouts and onions begin to brown. Remove the pan from the heat and spoon sprout mixture into a serving bowl. Season generously with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
