ALDI Advises customers to be aware of potential scams where persons claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office (ATO), Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) or other government agencies or businesses ask for fake debt or fines to be paid by iTunes or other gifts cards. They assert that failure to comply will result in imprisonment, deportation, financial penalty or personal harm.

ALDI wishes to remind customers that Government agencies and legitimate business will never ask for payments in the form of gift cards.
