Less is more
While other supermarkets usually stock over 20,000 products, we tend to hand-pick a range of about 2,000 or so. By focusing only on the products we know our customers need and buy regularly, we save everyone time, and more importantly, money!

Our Quality teams test everything (and we mean everything) to make sure only the very best makes it to our shelves. It’s how you’ll find award-winning wines and cheeses at low prices, so you can enjoy the finer things more often.

Aussie-first
When food travels less, it stays fresher and is cheaper to move, too. By sourcing 100% of our fresh meat, eggs, and salmon (and 97% of our fruit and veg!) from Aussie farmers, we save on the high transport costs that can usually bloat grocery bills.

Mates' rates
We’re in long-term partnerships with over 1,000 regular supply partners, many for over 20 years. Through these relationships, we’re able to reduce the admin costs that usually drive up prices, meaning a lighter total at the checkout.

From pallets to shelf
Many of our products arrive ready to go straight onto the shelf. In produce, fruits and vegetables usually stay in the same crates they arrived in from the farm. Faster stocking means lower operating costs for ALDI and better value for everyone involved.

Ever notice how most of our stores basically look the same? That’s no accident. By keeping our layouts nice and predictable, we spend less on logistics and overheads, and pass those savings directly to you. Yes, you, reading this.

Trolley-mendous savings
Our trolleys need a token or gold coin to work. We do that to nudge shoppers to bring ‘em back to us. Because the less we have to spend on chasing them down, the more we can put back into your pocket. Win-win!

Good things come in small stores
Our stores are compact by design, roughly half the size of your typical supermarkets. Because we don’t pay for massive floor space, extra rent, or huge electricity bills, you don’t either.

Raising the bar(codes)
Take a closer look at your closest ALDI product you have lying around, and you’ll notice extra-large barcodes wrapping around our products. These ginormous codes make scanning a cinch for our staff, which cuts down our checkout costs and keeps your grocery bills niceeee and lowwwww.
