Cheeseburger Muffins Recipe
How to make Cheeseburger Muffins
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 20 minutes | Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 500g Jindurra Station 2 star beef mince
- ½ cup Deli Originals sweet and sour pickled cucumbers, diced
- 1 tsp Stonemill garlic salt
- 1 tsp Stonemill onion powder
- 2 tsp Stonemill smoked paprika
- ¼ cup Colway tomato sauce
- ½ cup White Mill breadcrumbs
- Pinch of Stonemill salt
- 6 thumb-sized pieces Westacre mozzarella cheese
- 1 red onion
- 3 Bon Appetit sliced brioche burger buns
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Add beef mince, pickles, breadcrumbs, garlic salt, smoked paprika, onion powder and tomato sauce into a large bowl. Mix it really well until combined.
- Divide the mixture into 6 sections.
- Spray a large muffin tin with olive oil.
- Cut 3 brioche buns in half and press each bun half (toasted side down) into the muffin holes using a glass.
- Grab mozzarella and cut into 6 pieces.
- Fill each muffin tray with ¾ full of the beef mixture.
- Press a piece of mozzarella into the middle and cover with a little more beef.
- Top with a slice of onion, spray lightly with olive oil and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favourite burger sauce or tomato sauce for dipping.
