How to make Berry Chia Bliss Jar
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus 2 hours chilling time | Cook Time: 0 | Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Oh So Natural Wholefoods black chia seeds
- ¾ cup milk of choice, plus extra ¾ cup
- 1 tbsp Oh So Natural Organic honey, plus extra 1 tbsp
- 1 cup frozen Orchard & Vine blueberries or frozen Orchard & Vine mixed berries
- 1 cup Brooklea plain yogurt, plus extra to serve
- ½ tsp White Mill vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp Stonemill ground nutmeg
- Fresh blueberries, to serve (optional)
- Fresh strawberries, to serve (optional)
- Chia seeds, to serve (optional)
- Mint leaves, to serve (optional)
Method
- Place chia seeds, milk and honey into a large bowl and mix well. Let settle for 2-3 minutes then mix again, until you see no clumping.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
- Place extra milk and honey, along with blueberries, yogurt, vanilla and nutmeg in a blender. Blend on high speed for 45 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon set chia into glasses and pour in smoothie. Top with extra yogurt and garnish of your choice.
