How to make Berry Chia Bliss Jar

Prep Time: 10 minutes plus 2 hours chilling time        |        Cook Time: 0        |        Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Oh So Natural Wholefoods black chia seeds
  • ¾ cup milk of choice, plus extra ¾ cup
  • 1 tbsp Oh So Natural Organic honey, plus extra 1 tbsp
  • 1 cup frozen Orchard & Vine blueberries or frozen Orchard & Vine mixed berries
  • 1 cup Brooklea plain yogurt, plus extra to serve
  • ½ tsp White Mill vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp Stonemill ground nutmeg
  • Fresh blueberries, to serve (optional)
  • Fresh strawberries, to serve (optional)
  • Chia seeds, to serve (optional)
  • Mint leaves, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Place chia seeds, milk and honey into a large bowl and mix well. Let settle for 2-3 minutes then mix again, until you see no clumping.
  2. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
  3. Place extra milk and honey, along with blueberries, yogurt, vanilla and nutmeg in a blender. Blend on high speed for 45 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon set chia into glasses and pour in smoothie. Top with extra yogurt and garnish of your choice.
