How to make Hot Cross Bun Banoffee Mini Trifle

Ingredients
- 4 Bakers Life banoffee inspired hot cross buns
- 1 large banana, thinly sliced
- 100ml Brookdale caramel ice cream topping, plus extra to serve
- Farmdale whipped cream
- Moser Roth finest dark chocolate shavings, to serve
Method
- Cut the hot cross buns horizontally into 3 slices.
- Place the 4 bottom pieces into 4 small glass bowls. Top with half of the sliced banana and half of the caramel topping. Place the middle slices of hot cross buns on top and repeat with the remaining banana slices and caramel topping.
- Top generously with whipped cream and serve with a final drizzle of caramel topping. Sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings and place the bun lid on top.
Optional
You could make this more chocolatey by using half caramel topping and half chocolate topping.
