Tuna Nachos

How to make Tuna Nachos

Prep Time: 10 minutes        |        Cook Time: 10 minutes        |        Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 95g can Ocean Rise yellowfin tuna chunks Italian style in oil with chilli
  • 400g can El Tora black beans, drained
  • 230g pack Sprinters corn chips
  • 2 cups Westacre Dairy pizza or tasty shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup Deli Originals green sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 300g jar El Tora salsa dip
  • 2 ripe avocados, smashed with lime juice and salt, for topping (optional)
  • ½ cup Westacre Dairy sour cream, for topping (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan-forced).
  2. On a large, ovenproof platter or baking tray, spread the corn chips in an even layer.
  3. Scatter the black beans over the chips, followed by chunks of the tuna.
  4. Spoon over half the salsa, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with the remaining salsa and jalapeños (optional).
  7. Serve immediately with avocado smash and sour cream on the side, if desired.
