How to make Banh Mi Pizza


  1. Pickle the carrot first. Place carrot in a small bowl and add the sugar, vinegar and salt with 75ml water, stirring well to evenly mix. Set aside to pickle for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 240°C (220°C fan-forced). Use 2 non-stick pizza trays or line baking trays with baking paper.
  3. Prepare the pizza dough according to packet instructions and place on trays. Brush with oil and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Cut off and discard the jellied top of the pâté . Spread pâté  over the pizza base and top with the sliced pork.
  5. Squeeze the pickled carrot dry and scatter over the pork. Add the spring onion and cucumber on top. Drizzle with mayonnaise, chilli garlic sauce and soy sauce.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and chilli. Cut pizza into wedges and serve.

Tip: You can store pickled carrot for up to 2 weeks in a sealed jar in the fridge.

Optional: The cooked pork can be substituted with leftover roast chicken or beef slices.
