Brioche French Toast Slice

Method

  1. Grease a rectangular baking dish. Preheat oven 180°C (or 160°C fan forced ovens). Spread sugar around bottom of dish.
  2. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and butter together well. Place a layer of brioche bread in tray. Cover with egg mix. Repeat step until dish is full ending with a covering of egg mix.
  3. Sprinkle the top with nutmeg. Cover with foil. Place in preheated oven for 30 min. Remove foil and cook for a further 10min to brown top.
  4. Serve topped with your favourite yoghurt and seasonal fruit.
