Golden Turmeric & Coconut Yogurt
- First make the golden turmeric paste by placing water, turmeric, coconut oil and cinnamon in to saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer over a gentle heat for 6 - 7 minutes, stirring continuously until you have a thick paste. You may want to add a little additional water to your paste if it becomes too thick.
- Allow to cool.
- Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric paste to coconut yogurt and stir to thoroughly combine .
- Split mixture between two bowls and drizzle with honey to serve.
*Note that leftover paste can be kept in an airtight jar in the fridge for up two weeks.
It’s great to use in your coconut yogurt or heat through Almond or Rice milk for a warming golden mil.
