Sweet Asian Tacos with Home-made Slaw

Method

    1. Combine the cabbage, carrots, ginger, lime zest and juice, the sesame seeds and oil with salt, then add a little sugar to taste. Set aside for serving.
    2. Warm tortillas in a microwave, according to packet instructions.
    3. Add a little oil to a cast iron skillet or pan, over a medium high heat. When pan is fully heated, add the pork belly and sear, turning the pieces to ensure all sides are reheated through*.
    4. Serve immediately with the warm tortillas, Asian slaw and an extra lime wedge.

    *Note: Do not reheat cooked meat more than once. Food Standards Australia outlines that cooked meat should be reheated rapidly to 70°C and held there for at least 2 minutes.
