Meet Pace Farm.

100% Australian family owned and operated, Pace Farm has been in operation for over forty years. What is now an abundance of farms that produce free range, barn, cage, and organic eggs across Australia’s eastern seaboard, once began as a single farm in Western Sydney in the early 1970’s.

The team at Pace Farm rear their own chicks, formulate their own feed, and then deliver fresh eggs straight to ALDI distribution centres. Pace Farm collect and grade eggs daily as part of a commitment to produce only the highest quality eggs for ALDI customers.

Pace Farm is supporting ALDI’s commitment to be cage free by 2025, by investing in new free range and barn farms for the future. They have also invested in reducing their carbon footprint through solar panels and other environmental initiatives on their farms.

Check out some egg-citing facts:

Naturally good for you.

They’re not just delicious, egg yolks are one of the few foods that naturally contain Vitamin D. Two eggs provide 82% of your recommended daily intake*! But wait, there’s a lot more. Each egg contains roughly:

  • 49% of your daily folate requirements* based on an 8700kj diet
  • 15% of your daily riboflavin (Vit B2) requirements
  • Vitamin A, E, B5, B12 plus iron, iodine and phosphorus

*based on extra large eggs

Poached perfect.

To poach perfect eggs, keep them fresh (they hold together better). Adding a dash of vinegar to the water will also help keep your eggs together during the cooking process.

Meringue magic.

When making meringues, ensure eggs are at room temperature as they will whip faster than cold ones.

Did you know?

If you put a whole egg in vinegar, the acetic acid dissolves the egg shell’s calcium carbonate crystals and the egg will turn clear! If you hard-boil the egg first, it’ll turn bouncy.
