What capsules fit the Expressi System?

All Expressi capsules featuring the Expressi® logo or Expressi® Compatible logo that are purchased through ALDI Australia stores will fit into your machine. Please note that the use of other branded capsules not clearly marked as Compatible with the Expressi System can be harmful to your machine and void your warranty.

What is inside the capsules?

​​​​​​​Every coffee capsule contains freshly ground, high-quality coffee which is individually sealed and nitrogen flushed to maintain freshness and aroma. Each capsule also contains an extraction filter which contributes to a high quality extraction of coffee particles for a more intense espresso flavour and a rich crema.

Can the capsules be used several times?

Expressi System capsules are intended for one cup and should therefore not be used more than once. Remove Expressi System capsules from the spent-capsule container after preparing your hot drink.  If your preference is to brew a “Lungo” (Long) cup of coffee, follow the ‘cup programming’ instructions in your machine manual to extend the large cup pour to 105mLs. It is recommended to use two capsules for a double shot coffee or when using larger ceramic mugs.

How should I store Expressi capsules?

You can keep K-fee Expressi capsules in their original box or in a container of your choice. They should always - as stated on the pack - be kept in a cool, dry place without direct exposure to heat or excessive temperatures.

How long does the coffee remain fresh in the capsules?

In our aroma-sealed capsules, the coffee stays fresh longer than conventional coffee formats as the environment remains sealed and airtight until extraction. Storing Expressi Capsules in a cool, dry place helps retain optimum flavour during recommended shelf life. The best-before date is printed on the left side of the capsules box.
