How to make Lamb Kebabs with Lebanese Pitas and Hommus

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
  2. Cube the marinated lamb steaks. Assemble the lamb pieces onto the skewers and set aside.
  3. Heat a pan to medium-high heat and sear off skewers for approximately 8-10 minutes, turning regularly.
  4. While cooking skewers, cut up Lebanese bread into quarters and assemble on a lined baking tray. Brush wraps with olive oil and sprinkle with mixed herbs. Then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until golden on edges.
  6. Assemble the plate. Add sliced cucumber, lemon, hommus topped with olive oil and paprika, lamb skewers and toasted Lebanese bread or wraps.
  7. Drizzle lemon juice over skewers and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy.
