How to Make Mediterranean Chicken with Dill Yogurt Sauce
Method
- Combine garlic, onion, oil, paprika, cumin, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl. Season with black pepper. Add chicken and coat with mixture. Cover and place in fridge to marinate for 6 hours (or overnight).
- Meanwhile make the dill sauce: place lemon juice, garlic, dill and yogurt in a food processor. Blend until smooth and season to taste with sea salt. Cover and place in fridge.
- Preheat the BBQ or char-grill. Cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes, turning once or until slightly charred and cooked through.
- Squeeze over the lemon wedges while the chicken cooks. Transfer to a warm plate, lightly cover with foil and rest the meat for 5-10 minutes before serving with the dill sauce.
- Serve with grilled lemon wedges and garnish with dill sprigs.
