How to make Roast Lamb with Rosemary, Honey and Garlic Glaze
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Put the leg of lamb into a roasting dish just big enough to hold it.
- Cut the garlic bulbs in half and stuff around the lamb, along with the rosemary. Pour over the water.
- Cook uncovered for 30 minutes, then turn the heat down to 160°C (140°C fan-forced) and cover loosely with foil.
- Cook for a further 3 hours.
- Meanwhile, make the glaze. Mix all the ingredients together for the glaze.
- Turn the heat back to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and take off the foil. Brush with the glaze and return to the oven.
- Cook for another 20 minutes, basting every 5 minutes.
- Roast lamb is great served with steamed vegetables and new potatoes.
