Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

How to Make Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl mix together flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars together until fluffy.
  4. Mix in egg and vanilla until evenly combined. Add flour mixture in batches, combining well.
  5. Break chocolate into chunks, fold three-quarters of the chocolate into dough.
  6. Place 2-3 tablespoon-sized scoops of cookie dough on the baking tray – about 5cm apart.
  7. Add remaining chocolate chunks on top of the cookie dough balls before baking.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
