How to make Dark Chocolate Coated Dates with Peanut Butter
Method
- Gently make an incision at one end of the date, squeeze out the pip and slightly widen the opening.
- Scoop the peanut butter into a piping bag then fill date to the opening.
- Crush salted peanuts and set aside to garnish the dates, once coated in chocolate.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, bring water to the boil then simmer. Place chocolate in a stainless steel bowl then place over the top of simmering water, stirring chocolate until smooth and velvety.
- Coat dates with chocolate, sprinkle with crushed peanuts then place in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Serve.
