Strawberry Panna Cotta Recipe

How to make Strawberry Panna Cotta

Method

  1. Place the cream, maple syrup and vanilla into a saucepan over a medium-high heat and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir and remove from the heat.
  2. Soften gelatine sheets by placing them in a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes.
  3. Squeeze the softened gelatine sheets to remove excess moisture and whisk them into the warmed cream until smooth.
  4. Whisk in the yogurt and strain the mixture into a jug. Pour into 4 x 150ml glasses. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  5. Take panna cotta out of the fridge 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve with strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Optional: You can prepare these in small moulds or ramekins and unmould them by turning out onto small plates.

Tip: Brands of gelatine sheets can vary in their setting abilities. Each pack will have instructions. Use the amount required to softly set 500ml of liquid.
