How to Make Hot Cross Cheesy Bacon Brunch


  1. Preheat the grill (or if you prefer, you can fry the bacon).
  2. Grate the cheese. Into a bowl, add the egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika and some black pepper and the grated cheese and mix well with a fork.
  3. Grill the bacon until crisp and keep warm (or fry until crispy and drain on paper towel).
  4. Cut the hot cross buns in half and grill the non-crossed sides. Spread the cheese mixture over the untoasted cut sides, then toast them until the cheese has melted.
  5. Cut the bacon rashers in half and put on the bases of the buns. Top with the crossed part of the buns and serve immediately.
