Korean Fried Cauliflower Recipe
How to Make Korean Fried Cauliflower
Method:
- Mix the soy and sweet chilli sauces to make the dip, then set aside.
- Break up the cauliflower into florets.*
- Heat 3cm of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat.
- While the oil is heating, put the flour, baking powder and chilli powder into a bowl. Season with salt. Whisk in lime juice and water, to make the batter.
- Drop the cauliflower florets in the batter and then carefully into the hot oil.
- Fry in batches until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towel.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with the sweet chilli and soy dip.
*TIP: You can keep the cauliflower stalks to use in another dish. These can also be frozen for soup or vegetable stock.
