Bacon and Honey Jam Loaded Chips
How to make Bacon and Honey Jam Loaded Chips

Prep Time:  5 minutes        |        Cook Time:  20 minutes        |        Serves:  10 - 12 as a snack

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Remano olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 200g Berg streaky bacon, finely chopped
  • ½ cup White Mill brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Oh So Natural honey
  • ½ tsp Stonemill paprika
  • 160g Sprinters snack stack chips
  • Rosemary leaves, to garnish

Method

  1. Add oil to a medium-sized saucepan. Place over medium-high heat, add onions and bacon then cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
  2. Add brown sugar, honey and paprika. Turn the heat down to low and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until caramelised and thickened. Set aside to cool.
  3. Lay the chips onto a serving platter. Top with cooled bacon and honey jam, then top with a rosemary leaves.
