Grilled Peach and Beef Burgers

How to make Grilled Peach and Beef Burgers

Prep Time: 15 minutes        |        Cook Time: 20 minutes        |        Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • The Olive Tree extra virgin olive oil spray
  • 500g Ready, Set…Cook! beef burgers
  • 200g Berg streaky bacon slices
  • 2 peaches, quartered
  • 2 tbsp White Mill brown sugar
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 Bon Appétit brioche burger buns
  • 2 tbsp Colway mayonnaise
  • 60g The Fresh Salad Co salad leaf mix

Method

  1. Heat a chargrill or bbq to medium-high. Lightly spray with cooking oil. Grill burgers for 8-10 minutes, turning once until golden and caramelised. Cook bacon for 5 minutes until crispy. Wipe down the grill with a paper towel. Keep burgers and bacon warm on a plate covered with foil.
  2. Sprinkle peaches with brown sugar and add them to the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden. Add onions and cook for 3 minutes until softened.
  3. To assemble the burger, toast burger buns and lay out the bases on a wooden board. Top with mayonnaise and mixed salad leaf mix, burger patty, caramelised peaches, onion and bacon. Top each burger with a lid.
