Honey Pork and Nectarine Skewers
How to make Honey Pork and Nectarine Skewers
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10 – 12 minutes | Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp The Olive Tree extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 800g Ironbark Pork pork chops
- 2 nectarines
- 2 tbsp Bramwells honey
- ½ bunch fresh chives, chopped
Method
- Add olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix until combined and the oil is emulsified.
- Cut the pork into 3cm cubes and add it to the bowl. Toss to completely coat the pork pieces.
- Halve the nectarines, remove the stones and slice into wedges. Thread pork and nectarine wedges onto 8 metal or wooden skewers.
- Preheat BBQ or chargrill. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally or until the pork is cooked.
- Brush the skewers with honey during the last minute of cooking.
- Place skewers onto serving plate, sprinkle with chopped chives and serve immediately.
