Spaghetti and Meatballs Recipe

How to make Spaghetti and Meatballs


  1. In a bowl mix mince, garlic, fresh herbs, onion, salt and pepper. Combine well and place in the fridge for 15 minutes for flavours to develop.
  2. Roll approx 1 tablespoon of mince mix into balls. Heat fry pan to medium-high heat. Add oil. Add meatballs and cook, turning occassionally, for 6-8 minites or until cooked through. Remove meatballs from pan and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
  3. Drain the oil from the pan and wipe clean with kitchen paper. Add pasta sauce and beef stock and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Return meatballs to sauce. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly and season to taste.
  5. Cook spaghetti as per packet instructions. When cooked, place spaghetti on a plate and top with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with basil leaves.
