Sweet and Spicy Salmon Skewers Recipe

How to make Sweet and Spicy Salmon Skewers


  1. For the sauce, in a pan bring to boil all ingredients except the corn flour and 3 tablespoons of water. Simmer for approximately 3-4 minutes until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Make a paste with the corn flour and water. Add to the sauce and whisk to thicken slightly. Turn off heat and set aside.
  3. Lightly toast the sesame seeds add to dry frypan on medium heat. Move around the pan to toast, until lightly golden. Set aside.
  4. For the salmon skewers, in a non-stick pan heat oil to medium heat. While heating up, cut off salmon skin carefully and cut salmon into 3cm cubes.
  5. Place on skewers and then cook in pan 2-3 minutes each side until slightly golden on edges.
  6. Once cooked, serve on a plate, pour over sauce and garnish with sesame seeds, lemon and coriander sprigs.
