How to make Air Fryer Crunchy Cauliflower Bites

Prep Time:  10 minutes        |        Cook Time: 15 minutes        |        Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into medium sized florets (3 - 4cm)
  • 2 cups Kellogg's gluten free corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 Lodge Farms egg
  • ¼ cup Farmdale full cream milk  
  • 1 tsp Stonemill garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Stonemill paprika
  • ¼ tsp Stonemill salt  
  • Stonemill pepper, to taste
  • The Olive Tree extra virgin olive oil spray

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 200°C.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  3. In another bowl, combine crushed corn flakes, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Dip cauliflower florets into the egg mixture, then into the crumb mixture, pressing to coat.
  5. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with olive oil.
  6. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until the coating is crispy and golden.
  7. Serve warm.

Tip

  • For extra crunch, double-coat the florets: dip in egg, then crumb, then repeat.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce such as yoghurt-herb or sweet chilli for extra flavour and garnish with parsley.
