How to make Avocado Dip with Hot Smoked Salmon

Method

  1. Cut the avocados in half, deseed and scoop the flesh into a food processor. Add the sour cream and lime juice and blitz until very smooth. Season well with salt and pepper and spread onto a board or platter.
  2. Flake the salmon and place it on top of the dip. Scatter the coriander, tomato and red onion on top and sprinkle with black pepper.
  3. Serve with lemon wedges and tortilla strips.

Tip: Make the avocado dip just before serving to avoid discolouration.

Optional: For a spicy kick, top with finely chopped, fresh green jalapeño chillies.
