How to Make Oats with Honey Roasted Plum Granola


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C  (160°C for fan forced ovens).
  2. Wash and cut the plums in half and remove the stones. Cut each half into 3 wedges and place in a small baking dish. Spoon the honey on top and stir to combine.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until soft, juicy and slightly tinged on the wedges. Set aside.
  4. Place the oats into a saucepan over a medium high heat and add the milk (or water). Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for one minute, stirring to prevent it from sticking.
  5. Spoon the oats into 4 bowls. Top with the roasted plums and drizzle with the juices. Sprinkle the granola on top and serve with fresh berries.

Optional: You can use water instead of milk for this recipe. You can swap out honey for maple syrup.

TIP: Plums can be roasted up to 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge.
