Tips for Longer Lasting Flowers

Looking Trim

Once flowers arrive home, cut at least 2cm off the end of each stem. Fill a clean vase with water and remove leaves left on stems below the water line.

HINT: Try to cut stems at an angle. Flowers take in more nutrients this way.

Stay Hydrated!

Change the water every day, cutting stems each time. Aim to keep your vase at least three quarters full with water.

HINT: Place flowers in slightly warmer water to encourage the buds to open quickly.

Location

Once you have finished arranging your flowers, choose a place to keep them that’s out of
direct sunlight.

HINT: Remember not to place the arrangement near or on top of warm appliances!
