Easter Choc Coconut Nests Recipe
How to Make Easter Choc Coconut Nests
Method
- Line 8 holes of a muffin pan with cling wrap.
- Into a heat resistant bowl, break up the chocolate. Put the bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
- Stir gently until the chocolate is melted. Add the shredded coconut.
- Divide the mixture between the 8 muffin holes and use the back of a teaspoon to create an indent in the middle, slightly pushing the sides up to create a nest shape.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate is set. Gently unmould the nests and place on a serving platter. Top each one with a few speckled eggs and serve.
Tip: Try using white or dark chocolate to make the nests, or a combination.
Optional: You could also serve with a few small blueberries or raspberries.
